West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan inaugurate the industrial area "Marunda Center" in Jalan Tarumajaya Marunda Makmur District of Bekasi Regency, Sunday, August 31, 2008, around 15:00 pm. Industrial area was built by PT. Tegar Primajaya in cooperation with PT. Multikarya Hasilprima as the developer.
Director of PT. Tegar Primajaya, Iwan Djunaedi confirms development of "Marunda Center" will be based on the needs of industrial and warehousing area located near the Port of Tanjung Priok. The location of this industrial area within 9.8 km of the Port of Tanjung Priok.
"Marunda Center" was built to international standards in the area of ​​430 hectares with an investment cost of Rp 1.5 trillion. This industrial area is also close to the highway access Cikarang - Tanjung Priok is planned to start operating in 2010 and is part of the East Flood Canal project.
Iwan Djunaedi mention the development of this industrial area to meet the needs of the manufacturing, logistics, distribution centers, container terminals, and storage for solid and liquid products.
